The Window Source of Indy’s team of experienced installers began the installation project by carefully removing the existing siding and trim to allow for a proper, weathertight installation of the new flanged windows. To accommodate the larger depth of the new windows, we also cut back the drywall returns. Not only will the window better function with the appropriate depth, but the amount of visibility will also be maintained. Once the new windows were set in place, we installed nail flanges and rubber tape to ensure a weathertight seal. To complete the project, we installed new marble sills and reinstalled the siding and trim. The exterior trim received a fresh coat of paint. New windows, new marble sills, and freshly painted exterior trim give the project and the home a polished look.
